" To Remember and Understand"

The annual dinner dance was and is still to this day an established tradition of the italian societies . The Hotel Bond in Hartford was THE place where most of these events would be held until the 1960's when "progress" brought about its demise and the Statler Hilton became the favored choice. Until the late 1960's it was not unusual to see 300 plus people attending each event.
Today, 2019 as I write this, the Daugthers of Canicattini are almost the only club left which is able to maintain that annual tradition thanks in part to the participation of the members and friends of the Circolo San Michele located in Boston.
Following are panaromic pictures of some of the societies events.
